Yesterday's Outfit: Chanel

I really need to get on buying a Chanel bag, I've just never come across any that are of reasonable price, I'm looking for a leather quilted Chanel, this may have to happen after Christmas...hopefully! Anyway, this look is inspired by the more classic side of Chanel, and below are some of ads that I've collected over the years that inspire really just about all my outfits based off Chanel! :) Here are some quick snapshots of yesterdays outfit below...

And now the inspiration...

Home for my jewelry

Years and years of impulsive jewelry buying has resulted in the purchases of many jewelry trays, and then to just hanging them wherever I can find room for them to go.

(Above) Pink Chanel cuff I purchased a couple years ago, one of the diamonds fell off so I don't really wear it much but I also can't bear to throw it away.

I've started a bit of a ring collection so I went out to a couple thrift stores and found this glass holder, perfect for all my rings!

Necklaces I made hanging on my mirror, and feather earrings hanging from those necklaces, unreal...

Sunny Day Snapshots.

Still really busy, but I finally got a new phone so I'm officially out of the stone age! My old Blackberry didn't even let me take pictures :( But my new Samgsung Exhibit does and I took some quick snapshots the other day while at a friends house.

Loving these new fold-over boots I just got!
My whole outfit was giving me a Chanel vibe, and while playing around on my phone I found some cool Chanel pictures, look below...

Spring/Summer Shoe Favorties

Here are some of my favorite shoes from the Spring and Summer lines. I think my favorites have to be Prada SS '10, Miu Miu SS '10, and the Chanel SS '08. The SS shoes for this years Miu Miu aren't too shabby either! I love the color block on the shoe, and the rich red color really stands out. The Dior SS '11 are beyond beautiful! I love the colors on this one shoe in particular, the red ribbon is a perfect color and goes well with all the other colors on the shoe. The prada SS '10 chandelier shoes are so different, i've never seen anything like them before and I hope I come across a resonably priced pair one day. The Miu Miu SS '10 might just be my next shoe purchase! I love the platform and the overall shape of the shoe. Its perfect for Spring/Summer.

Los 100 Clasicos de la Moda

So I found this book at the library last week at its all in french, but I spoke with my mother and showed her the book and she could somewhat understand it, she said Spanish and French are a little similar and she speaks fluent Spanish so here we go! This book has some awesome illustrations in it by Ruben Toledo and from what I could decipher, this book is all about classic and timeless pieces! So obviously I couldn't resist taking it home to check it out!

The Chanel No. 5 perfume is a classic and known all around the world!
There's a quote in the book from Coco Chanel in french..."Una mujer que no usa perfume no tiene futuro."

Rick Owen leather jacket. A classic and I don't just mean any Rick Owen leather jacket, I think all black leather jackets are timeless.

The Burberry trench coat! The trench coat has been around for a while! You can see Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, and Catherine Deneuve wearing them in their movies such as Casablanca, Breakfast at Tiffanys, and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.

Last, but never least, shoes! Classic brands like Manolo Blahnik and timeless styles like the Mary Jane.

Very good book if I do say so myself and have a great Monday everybody!
