Red Leather Zac Posen // Leather Mohair Balenciaga

Still forced to stay indoors due to the nasty weather outside. That only means more studying and working on random projects to me though!

Wearing a red leather Zac Posen jacket. I found this at Goodwill! I feel like I stole it because of the markdown price!

Balenciaga Fall 2006.
I love these boots.

Rain means indoor activities, unless you own rain boots, which I do not.

I've been pretty busy lately this month, studying for my Spanish finals! Very exhausting work, and my birthdays in about two weeks, St. Patricks day! A day not only to drink unnatural amounts of beer but to eat some birthday cake too because I'll be turning 19!

So its been really rainy and gloomy here the past few days so I've taken a bunch of indoor pictures, but I'll post that later.

Bad Ass Balenciaga

They are finally here! My Balenciaga harness boots that I've been waiting to grab since they first hit the stores! Which is quite some time, seeing as they are Fall 06! Anyways, they were a complete steal on Ebay!

This dress is another great Ebay find!

I picked up this Rodarte dress in Chicago last year. Awesome find!

You gotta love the chunky heel on this shoe! Not to mention the mohair and leather!

New Shoe Sketches by Dragon Queen!

Some new sketches for some shoe designs. Finally learned how to draw lace on a shoe, that one what hard work! All of these except the lace shoe design are inspired by shoes created by some of my favorite designers.
*Please note that I am NOT creating fake designer shoes. I just add the feel of my favorites with my own designs.

Reminds me of Proenza Schouler's style of shoe. Especially the red part, they did a nice colored accent on a recent shoe earlier.

I would really perfer this shoe without the bow! I just decided to add it to the design to make it a little weird.

I absolutely love the style of Marni's shoes, so I decided to create my own heel with a bit of a Marni feel. Yes, I'm a poet now.

Looks like it's gonna be a good one.

Just trying out my new tripod! Finally! Wearing some cool stuff I found either online or thrifting. The turquoise ring is a little big so I can't wear it as much as I'd like to but it's still perfect to me nonetheless!

Now, I usually don't buy shoes from Target, not because it's not Chanel or Bakers or whatever, but, just because I really don't find shoes that would fit me there. But I found these about a year ago on my trip to Chicago to visit my godmother and I really did fall in love. They have a nice Indian Cherokee feel to them and they are very comfortable! I also love the weaving on the shoe (I guess you would call it weaving?) and the rough looking leather on the heel.

A very nice heel!

Lace Love

Wearing this vintage beautiful and very delicate lace dress I found on eBay with my favorite fishnet tights. Too bad it's too cold right now to wear it outside! We've gotten more than 28 inches of snow here in St. Louis, and its annoying styling every single outfit with boots that can handle the snow, which are definitely scarce in my closet! I had to go out and buy a pair of snow boots a while ago its gotten so bad. I have no idea what I was wearing before I had these boots!

INDIAN CHARMER

So over the summer I picked up this vintage suede fringe vest by the name of Learsi. Never heard of it before but I'll definitely be looking for more by Learsi! It's missing some of the fringes and is just a little bit big but I couldn't just not bring it home!
